Cauliflower Crust Pizza [RECIPE]


Going gluten free? Or just LOVE pizza and are curious about making a healthier version? Here you go, my friend! This cauliflower crust recipe is too good. I thought I'd eat half the pizza and save the rest for lunch the next day but it was so delish I scarfed down the whole thing in one sitting... and I don't feel an ounce of guilt about it. This pizza is a great way to get lots of veggies down the hatch. I love that you can make several crusts at once and freeze them. Say hello to your own homemade version of take & bake pizza. Enjoy!


3 cups cauliflower rice

3 cups filtered water

1/3 cup parmesan or goat cheese

1 tsp oregano

1 beaten egg

Tomato sauce or olive oil for pizza sauce

Toppings! Veggies, veggies, veggies. Meats are a great addition too.

Nut milk bag or cheesecloth

Baking sheet

  1. Preheat the oven to 400*

  2. Oil a baking sheet with either olive or avocado oil

  3. Get yourself some cauliflower rice -- you can buy it from the store (Trader Joes or Costco) or make it yourself by grinding up cauliflower florets in a food processor until rice-like.

  4. Boil 3 cups of water

  5. Add the cauliflower rice to the water and cook for 5 minutes

  6. Drain and pour the rice into a nut milk bag to get all excess water out. Get the rice as dry as possible, but careful not to burn your hands!

  7. Mix all ingredients + cauliflower rice together in a bowl until well combined

  8. Spread the dough on the oiled pan in any shape

  9. Stick the dough in the oven (without toppings) and bake at 400* for 35 minutes or until golden brown

  10. Take out of the oven and sprinkle with tons of yummy toppings -- get creative! This is a great chance to fill up on veggies that are on their last legs!

  11. Stick the pizza back in the oven for 5 minutes
